We are 501(c) nonprofit founded to support moms in the ocean through all stages of motherhood.

Our mission is to get moms back in the ocean, to encourage and support their love for surfing, and to help new-to-surfing moms find a community on their beach.

We host regular meet-ups and partner with local surf schools to offer lessons and coaching.

SURF SOCIAL & fUNDRAISER

  • Let’s get together to celebrate the official start of summer & International Surfing Day!

    Join Mermaid Surf Sisters, WB Surf Mamas, & Cape Fear Surfrider for a surf social to build community & support for our local Surfrider program: ALL in the water.

    Can you imagine a summer without riding waves, playing in the ocean, and enjoying the freedom of our open waterways?!

    There are so many children in our community who will NOT get the opportunity to experience the joy of playing in the water this summer.

    TOGETHER, we can help change this!

    Our local Cape Fear Surfrider chapter hosts an incredible program that helps local children learn how to swim and gain access to empowering aquatic experiences right here in Wilmington.

independence day surf

  • July 3RD

    8-12pm

    Independence Day surf! Come surf & hang in Carolina Beach at Hamlet Ave. access. Wear your red, white, and blue! Enjoy some sparklers, snacks, and some waves.

    *Tony Silvagni Surf School will be setup beachside for any lessons or board rental needs.

skate & hang: 3rd fridays (fall/winter)

kids swimwear donations: all summer drop offs

  • Got any swimsuits that are too small or you aren’t using — New or Gently used?

    Consider donating them at one of the WB Surf mamas meetups - or contact us directly. The bathing suits will go to Nsea Swim to benefit kids that are learning to swim!
